The importance of integrating surgery and rehabilitation is an essential step in planning the correct patient approach.
The physiotherapy strategy stems from understanding the gesture performed in the operating room and cultural overlap on the appropriate rehabilitation consequences.
The dedicated Live Surgery program aims to delve together into the surgical steps directly in live connection with Dr. Giovanni Di Giacomo and his team from the operating room at Concordia Hospital in Rome.
- A dedicated Shoulder Academy mentor will prepare an overview of the clinical cases we will go live to explain preoperative planning from imaging to clinical evaluation of the patient.
- During the procedure, our team will guide you in understanding the surgical gesture step by step and explaining the rehabilitation implications.
- Direct connection with the operating room allows Dr. Di Giacomo to answer your questions in real time during the surgery so that even the most delicate steps of the surgical act are best understood.
At the end of the operative session, there will be a discussion of the clinical cases together with Dr. Di Giacomo to plan and decide the next steps, from the use of the brace to the most appropriate rehabilitation strategy to be proposed to the patient in post-surgical treatment.
